Usually, there are three players in the front near the net and three players in the back of the court. In the first game, the teams will play a short volley to decide who will serve. Then the loser of the previous game will serve for the duration of the game. Rally starts with a sub. The server must take a shot behind the endpoint and choose either underhand or overhand.
